in colorado the first of april is one of the finest days out.  known as gaper day, it is a celebration of the lovely folks that visit our resorts and make fools of themselves unknowingly.  a sun-up to sun-down endeavor, the idea is to wear the most ridiculous swag you can dig up at your local thrift store (or grandparents ski locker)
